XOLOTL is a modern luxury house devoted to the Xoloitzcuintli. We bring together considered skin care, scent, ritual, adornment, and design in a world shaped by the breed's singular skin, sculptural form, and enduring Mexican heritage.
Our company began with a deep connection to the Xoloitzcuintli. Living alongside the breed made one truth clear: it distinctive needs and remarkable legacy called for care conceived expressly in its honor. That conviction gave rise to XOLOTL.
The Xoloitzcuintli's history gives the work its depth. In Mexica belief, the Xoloitzcuintli accompanied the soul on its passage through Mictlan. The mythology of Xōlōtl tells of a journey with Quetzalcóatl into the underworld, in search of the sacred bones from which humanity would be reborn. These stories inform our point of view: the Xoloitzcuintli is not simply our inspiration; it is the reason and reference for the house.
The Ritual Collection is XOLOTL's skin care line, created for the Xoloitzcuintli's distinctive skin. Sent shapes the atmosphere of care; adornment celebrates the breed's sculptural presence. Together, these expressions make up a wider world rooted in the Xolotizcuintli.
